Interview With An Anonymous JLS Student

today we will be interviewing a random student in the library that would wish to stay anonymous. We will be asking him two questions about the school's rules and leadership.

What do you feel about the new mask rule changes?

“It’s alright, I like how the teachers are more or less allowing everyone to choose if they want to wear a mask or not.”

I have to agree with him as the new mask changes have been pretty flexible. Overall the school has allowed you to remain masked if you’d like. If you take a quick look around, it seems the majority of students still remain masked whether due to habit or choice.

If you could give the student council a rating out of 5 stars, what would you give them?

“I would have to give them a 3 out of 5 stars.”

Is there a reason you gave them that rating?

“It’s kind of hard to know what they’re doing when you’re not a part of them, but I think they are doing more or less what they said they would do.”

With this, we can tell that the student council hasn’t been transparent enough that students know what is going on. From our pretty reliable sources, at the last student council meeting, they discussed end-of-the-year parties. If you are interested in these types of matters, email us at jlspost@post.com and we’ll start writing articles about these meetings. But the big thing is, the student council basically promised that we would stay all in the know about all the decisions being made at their meetings. We still haven’t received any meeting summaries on Schoology or any other public source that every student can access.
